Made in Godot 4.2 for Trijam 262.

This took me much longer than three hours! But it is the first time I’m publishing anything, though, so I plowed through and made something that’s hopefully fun for a few minutes of gameplay.

Small tip, as it might not be clear from the in-game instructions: you don't need to hold K and then press O to dash. Holding K just makes you bounce if you hit a wall while dashing.

All visual assets by myself - mostly unfinished and abandoned stuff from the graveyard that is my Aseprite folder, and a few custom sprites that I quickly put together for this project.

This game was really fun and It felt really satisfying bouncing off of the walls but for me it felt hard trying to get my head around holding o while pressing x in mid air and getting it the right direction. I think if you simplified the controls a bit this could be a viable commercial project. otherwise I really enjoyed the game

Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely need to think about the control scheme as it's the #1 issue people have with the game. But with the positive feedback I'm getting, I'm definitely going to expand upon the project and see where it can go. Again, thanks so much! :)

This game is extremely good and the #1 place is fully deserved, have you ever played Celeste?

Hey, that's the second time someone mentions Celeste, which makes me very happy. :) Of course I've played Celeste, and of course I love it to bits. It's a huge source of inspiration. Thank you!
